2025 Recap: Favorites & Memories

As the year comes to a close, we always love taking a moment to look back at everything that shaped Lightbulb League over the past twelve months. It was a year full of growth, change, creativity, and a whole lot of gratitude. Our list of favorite memories is long, but these are the moments that stand out the most.

The heart of our year will always be our clients. We worked with so many incredible business owners who trusted us with the vision for their brand imagery. From product based brands who mailed in their collections, to artists, to designers, wedding industry creatives, and makers who poured so much of themselves into their work, every session felt personal. We say it often, but we truly mean it. Our clients make the creative process feel exciting and meaningful, and we are grateful for every single one of them.

One of the biggest changes of the year was Tamara moving away from Houston. Cue sad face. She had been such an important part of our sessions and our behind the scenes rhythm, so her move was a huge shift for the team.

Even though we were sad to see her go, it prompted something really special. We were able to welcome new team members who now help capture video during sessions. Each new person brought fresh energy and new ideas, which gave our sessions a boost.

Another standout moment was hosting our first workshop in June, followed by another in September, both featuring the topic of learning how to use your iPhone to take better video. Both were incredible experiences that allowed us to teach, connect, and create in a new setting. Seeing people come together to learn hands on styling, technique, and creative thinking was one of the biggest joys of the year. We already have more workshops on the 2026 calendar, and we cannot wait to build on what we started.

We also launched The Custom Classroom this year, which felt like a major milestone. It gave us a new way to support creative business owners by sharing the tools, strategies, and education that we have learned along the way. It quickly became a space we feel proud of.

Another big shift was making the decision to remove large scale products and interiors from our list of offerings. With everything we learned this year, it became clear that focusing on branded portraiture and small scale product based brands is where our work feels most aligned. Streamlining our services has already made our process smoother and more intentional.

Looking back, this year was full of change, but every change felt purposeful. We feel grateful, grounded, and excited for everything that is coming next. Here is to another year of serving creative brands, building community, and capturing work that feels true to the people behind it.
